Reservation requests are to be sent via email to: geninfo@gastaldiusa.com   

The Tour Agent is responsible for providing accurate name, date and service requests.  It is the Tour Agent’s responsibility to provide timely notice of amendments and/or cancellations via email and must be in receipt of Gastaldi USA’s acknowledgement of such. 

Travel documentation

Travel documents including visas – are the responsibility of the passengers.  Gastaldi USA will not be responsible for costs incurred by passengers as a result of having insufficient or improper travel documentation.

Services provided

Gastaldi USA is a receptive tour operator, operating as a wholesaler of travel products in the United States.  As such Gastaldi USA is a facilitator only and not a provider of hotel and local services.  The suppliers of hotel accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, meals, attractions and other services, as well as tour escorts – are independent contractors and not agents or employees of Gastaldi USA.  Therefore Gastaldi USA shall not be liable for any personal injury or death or damage to or loss of property due to the performance by such persons and entities or arising out of other incidents while on tour including equipment breakdown, accidents, theft, lost or damaged baggage, strikes, delays and cancellation of or changes in itinerary, schedules, etc.  Gastaldi USA has no liability for third party cancellation, strike or any other force majeure or cause beyond its direct control.

Hotel closures/force majeure

In the event of a Force Majeure, passengers may have to be moved to alternate accommodations, or services may be cancelled, partially or in their entirety.  If circumstances are beyond our control, Gastaldi USA will not be responsible and/or liable for finding alternate accommodations.  The performance of any reservation agreement for hotels or services is subject to (but not limited to), circumstances including hotel closures, ownership changes, Act of God or Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, terrorist activities, pandemic, epidemic, government sanction, labor dispute, strike, interruption or failure of utilities.  Gastaldi USA shall not be responsible and/or liable if any third-party service provider or hotel fail to provide services due to any Force Majeure event.

Prices

All prices shown in Gastaldi USA’s tour proposals are NET RATES unless otherwise indicated. All prices include taxes and fuel surcharges in effect at the time of preparation. These taxes and fuel surcharges are subject to change, without notice, by local and federal authorities and all reservations will be adjusted to reflect the new rates as they come into effect.

Gastaldi USA will always endeavor to fulfill your booking at the rates provided. However, at the time of your request, should a product not be available at the rates quoted, we will always try to offer alternatives either from the same program/property, or with similar qualifying factors.

Payment

Payments terms are set per the individual property and/or service supplier terms. Any payment terms will be made in compliance with the individual policies of the supplier in question. Deposit and balance amounts will be due as indicated on the invoice. As default, if terms are not already specified on the individual proposal descriptions, balances will be due 30 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Each property and/or service supplier has established its own cancellation and refund policy. Any cancellations and refunds will be made in compliance with the individual policies of the supplier in question. Cancellation terms are set as indicated on the confirmation and invoice. As default, if terms are not already specified on the individual proposal descriptions, cancellation is non-refundable within 31 days prior to the activity start date.

Travel Documents

On confirmation of your booking, Gastaldi USA will provide all necessary information, including addresses, telephone numbers and other details necessary to include in your client’s Travel Documents. Unless otherwise specified, Gastaldi USA does not provide vouchers.

Payment Information

All payments are due in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise agreed and may be made by wire transfer or credit card.

NOTE REGARDING CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS!

To cover the merchant surcharge imposed on Gastaldi USA for each transaction, a surcharge up to 4% may be added to your invoice if payments are made via Credit Card, for all services.

International and Domestic Wire Transfers

In the case of payment by International Wire Transfers, a fee of $35 is due for each arriving transfer to cover bank charges and ensure that the full amount due is received into the Gastaldi USA account. It is agreed that should this fee be increased by the banking industry, Gastaldi USA will advise you and appropriate adjustments will be applied to all future transfers.
